Youth Leaders

GRDO’s Youth Leaders are an integral part of our team.  Our Youth Leaders are those who graduate from the GRDO Leaders-in-Training program for 14-18 year olds.  The course is an educational and fun way for youth to get equipped with tools to become better leaders, team members,  and employees.

For a cost of only $30, this course gives youth training in a number of subjects, including: leadership, teamwork, goal setting, communication, child development, behaviour management, conflict resolution, community activism, resume writing, interview skills, and more!

Youth Leaders will complete a 30 hour course of in-class and program activities.  Upon completion of their hours, they receive a certificate of completion and recognition at GRDO’s annual general meeting.  These hours can also be used for High School community service requirements.
